PAINTING WALLS

 Painting walls
When painting walls, roller is the quickest method to use. Choose a roller that is suitable for the paint to use. Wool rollers are best for oil-based paints. While rollers made from synthetic fibers can be use with all types of flat paint and water-thinned latex paints.
Short-napped rollers are suited for most walls and smooth concrete. Longer naps are for walls with irregular surfaces.
Wash the area with soap and water before painting. It must be reasonably clean.
One medium size roller and a brush for cutting the edges are usually enough for painting walls.
It is better to ask your local store when buying rollers. They are usually willing to give advice on what roller is best for what kind of paint to use and the paint to use on a particular wall.
Always remember that the cheapest way to paint your wall is to do it yourself.
